Was invited to MooJaa, Mookata Thai BBQ Steamboat to sample their authentic Thai BBQ Steamboat cuisine! =) It was a feast to behold and along the way, I met new friends such as the Ninja Girls, Welna and Freddy.

A photo with Welna and Freddy before the start of our feast.

To start it off, we were served Salmon Skin as appetizers! The Salmon Skin is fried to perfection, with a tinge of saltiness when eaten alone without dipping sauces. =D

There are two types of dipping sauces here at MooJaa and they are the Seafood Dip and Chilli Dip Sauces. The seafood dip sauce goes especially well with the Salmon Skin appetizer. Om-nom-nom! =D Each sauce is made from over 30 ingredients and many of these ingredients are fresh from Thailand! =D

The friendly staff at MooJaa helped us to set up the Steamboat pot. At MooJaa, premium charcoal is used instead of the normal charcoal we usually use for barbeques. Unlike the normal charcoal, the premium charcoal is not at all sooty, so no worries. =)

FOOD for our BBQ~ =) There are two types of Mookata sets to choose from: Set Moo (pork) or Set Gai (chicken). Each set comes with vegetables, vermicelli, cheese balls, cheese tofu, prawn, meat, abalone slices, pork balls, sotong, etc.

P.S. On a side note, the cheese balls are excellent!! And do order MooJaa's Thai Ice Milk Tea! =)

Pork Lard is used to oil the metal plate and this helps to enhance the taste of the meat being cooked. =)

The meat is then added on to the dome of the metal plate. This allows the delicious juices from the meat to drip into the soup base. The steamboat along with the soup will then taste even more scrumptious! =D

Group photo of the bloggers! =D

And if you were thinking that's all of the food... There's more!! =D

Thai Pineapple Fried Rice! A simple dish that contains pineapples, prawns and topped with peanuts. Crunchy pineapple goodness! =P

And last but not least, Tom Yam Soup! A great end to the feast! The Tom Yam Soup doesn't disappoint with its spiciness. One word: SHIOK! =]

MooJaa is definitely a great place to go to for authentic Thailand cuisine. Not forgetting, BBQ Steamboat is a good meal especially for the rainy days! Do call for a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a seat! =)

Thank you again MooJaa for organizing the MooJaa Food Event for the bloggers! =D
