Headed to Coastal Settlement for Si Wei's 22nd birthday on the 8th August. Because the birthday girl has the same birthday as Singapore. Lol. So we had an earlier celebration. Been missing out on a few of my friend's birthday celebrations because of work and stuff. So this time, I had to go! Haha. Anyway, we met at 10.30am at Tanah Merah MRT and wanted to take a taxi to Coastal Settlement because it was a very ulu place. But when we left the station, Joceyln's brother was parked at the roadside. Haha. So she bugged him to send us there. =P Haha. For those who are unsure, Coastal Settlement is located at 200 Netheravon Road, near the whole stretch of the Changi Chalets. =) It is also accessible by bus 29, though it is quite a long ride there. =X

While waiting for the rest to come, we bought Truffle Fries ($15) to munch on. Though they tasted quite decent, but personally, the Fries are a bit too expensive for my liking. Before the rest came, we ordered our entrees, cause it takes about 20-25 minutes for the pizzas to be done. =)

This is Five Cheese Pizza ($20), tasted quite nice. And the Arugula (vegetables on top) complimented the cheesy goodness~ Haha. =D

Half & Half Pizza - Chargrilled Wagyu Beef & Mushroom and Margherita Pizza ($25). The Wagyu Beef was splendid, I tell you!! Superbly grilled and sauteed finely, giving an overall perfect taste~ *melts* Wanted to kop more, but there already wasn't enough for all of us. Next time~~ =D

Truffle Mushroom Fettuccine ($21), tasted quite good. But I think we ordered too many mushroom/truffles-related food already, so a few bites and I was quite tired of the taste. Lol.

All of us, Candy and Xiao Ting couldn't make it, cause they were busy, either overseas or work. Lol. Tania too, cause Hari Raya was coming!

Grandmother's Brownie ($12), warm brownie with mocha sauce and cold vanilla ice-cream. Hit the spot!

Bread and Butter Pudding ($12), the pudding was slightly warm and it came topped with raisins and vanilla ice-cream. I thought the Bread and Butter Pudding tasted better than Grandmother's Brownie. Haha. =)

After lunch, we headed back home for a well-deserved rest. =) Haha. Anyway, Year 4 is starting for all of us. Those past 3 years have been a blur, and the final hurdle of undergraduate life is starting again. Another year and I will be wearing the graduation gown like Da and the other seniors. =) So persevere on and may be all graduate with flying colours! =D
