Give it up to Demi Lovato:

Been watching her growth from a Disney Channel star until now. She has grown in leaps and bounds and it feels great knowing that the amount of hard work you put it will show in the years to come. =)

Anyhow, all the best everyone, especially to those who are in their final year in University. Put in your very best and may it show in your results!!

Remember: Pain is temporary, GPA is forever!

Disney's newest movie is here! Been on the look-out for this movie after I have seen the trailer in the movies! Take a look! =D

Wonder if its somewhat similar to the Wizard of Oz. Haha. Guess I have to catch it when its out!! But what really does make me excited about the movie are the wonderful graphics and not forgetting, the characters of the show!

The three witches of the land of Oz seem a little intriguing to me, as I read a little of the synopsis and watch the trailer. I predict a slight plot twist though. =) Nevertheless, my favourite character would be the Wizard of Oz himself.

Oscar starts off as a circus magician that wants to make it big, but is willing to use different means to reach his goals. However, he was transported to the land of Oz as his hot air balloon was caught in a typhoon. There, he thought he had hit the jackpot until he meets three witches, Theodora, Evanora and Glinda, who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Throughout the movie, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use, Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful wizard but into a better man as well.

I often enjoy films that focus on character development in its plot. Not forgetting the character's suave looks as well. =P

My first celebration was with my SBS clique and we headed over to Seoul Garden at Marina Square for dinner! All of us were there! Hurrahh~ =D Thanks to Joceyln and her vroom-vroom skills, we made it there by 8PM, even though we left the school at 7.15PM.

The first thing I did when I reached Seoul Garden!! ZAM CHAR SIEW CHICKEN!!!!

Ohhh, my glorious Char Siew Chicken~ XD

Look at my satisfied face~
[On a side note: Look at those horrendous eye bags. LOL]

Random shots. LOL. What is Eunice doing?! Hurhur. =P

Anyway, we haven't seen each other since 1+ month ago and many of them went overseas, so we had a mass souvenir giving session too. LOL.

And last but not least, the two birthday girls (of 16th and 18th January respectively), me and Yan Xuan, received our birthday gifts~ =D

I got my Urban Decay Vice Palette!! WHEEEE~ XD My first ever item from Urban Decay. Yan Xuan got her charm bracelet from Thomas Sabo. Believe me when I say I have NEVER heard of Thomas Sabo before. Sometimes I wonder whether I'm living under a rock. Oops. =X Haha!!

The whole gang~ =D

Alright, hopefully I get more time to blog more. Too much stuff to do, or maybe I'm doing too much redundant stuff. Lol. Anyhow, just had a simple Macs dinner with my Da for Valentine's Day today. Shall have the official V'Day dinner on another day where there will be lesser queues. =) Heehee.

Till then, I'm going to head to bed now. Have to wake up at 6am tomorrow to reach school at about 8am to harvest my cells. Thinking about the time is making me sleepy already. LOL. Anyway, hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day today!! Whether you are attached or single, V'Day is a great day to appreciate all your loved ones! Nights people! Ciao~ =D

Took a few shots outside before we headed into the ballroom. =)

Always liked the interior of this hotel, looks so grand!

Took a shot of me and my Daddy! =D

There were other shots of me and my Mommy, but as usual, my Mom did not want me posting photos of her on the net. Lol. =X Anyhow, we headed into the ballroom and realized that we were to be seated on the "Red (VIP) Table", as commonly known as the 红桌, but it was the bride's side. So only the closest relatives from the Bride's family get to sit on the table. =P
The decoration on the Red Table is really very pretteh~ Lol.

The bride and groom =)

Suckling Pig Combination
Suckling Pig Slices, Pan-fried Abalone Clam with Garlic, Prawn Salad, Jellyfish with Sesame Seeds & Prawn Spring Roll
A glorious combination, the cold dish is always one of the best dishes in the entire the dinner. The suckling pig slices is both crispy and juicy~

Braised Three Kingdom Shark's Fin Soup
Sliced Abalone, Shredded Chicken & Black Mushroom
The broth of the soup is thick and flavourful =) Again, I have to emphasize that Sharks' Fin is not neccessary, so SAVE THE SHARKS! =)
Chef's Special Crispy Roast Chicken
Almost every wedding dinner (and sometimes lunch), you will get to see this dish being presented. Truth be told, I find it a simple and yet appetizing dish. =)
Steamed Cod Fish with Golden Minced Garlic & Soy Sauce
The best fish-dish I ever tasted in the many weddings I attended. Partly because its boneless. =P The cod fish was steamed to perfection and the fish instantly melted in my mouth with a tinge of saltiness. Simply heavenly~ Sigh. Haha.
Pan-Fried Prawns with Quaker Oats
The prawns were quite decent and very crispy. My Dad helped my mother and I to peel the prawns. =P So gentlemanly~

Photo taking! Yam-seng time~

Braised Abalone with Seasonal Vegetables
Another rather decent dish. Nothing much to emphasize about.
Smoked Tea Duck with Mini Pancake
The smoked tea duck tasted quite splendid alone, but the mini pancake did not enhance the taste of the duck. To me, I thought a simple "popiah" skin would have been better.
Braised Ee Fu Noodles with Crabmeat & Mushroom
During this dish, I was quite full already. =X Haha. But the noodles were delicious though and it was not too oily.

Mango Sago with Ice Cream
Such decadence~ Sigh... =) A great dish to end the night!

Overall, the dishes were sent out very quickly. Definitely great service and excellent taste. One of the best wedding dinners I ever been to! =)

Here's to my cousin and her husband, a blessed marriage and 早生贵子. Tee-hee~ Anyway, they are currently on their honeymoon! Sigh. When's my turn? LOL!!

Anyway, to all my readers, hope you guys had a great Christmas celebration and also, wishing all a Happy New Year! And I am stoning at home, because I ate too much good food the day before and now I am sick! Boo! Lol. So, enjoy yourselves and remember to take good care of your health yo!~ =) Cheers to all!

Was invited to MooJaa, Mookata Thai BBQ Steamboat to sample their authentic Thai BBQ Steamboat cuisine! =) It was a feast to behold and along the way, I met new friends such as the Ninja Girls, Welna and Freddy.

A photo with Welna and Freddy before the start of our feast.

P.S. On a side note, the cheese balls are excellent!! And do order MooJaa's Thai Ice Milk Tea! =)

And if you were thinking that's all of the food... There's more!! =D

MooJaa is definitely a great place to go to for authentic Thailand cuisine. Not forgetting, BBQ Steamboat is a good meal especially for the rainy days! Do call for a reservation if you want to be guaranteed a seat! =)

Thank you again MooJaa for organizing the MooJaa Food Event for the bloggers! =D

Without spoiling the plot, a little synopsis:
The film tells the heartwarming story of an arcade game villain, Ralph, who rebels against his role in the arcade game: Fix-It Felix, Jr. and instead, dreams of becoming a hero. He travels between games in the arcade, and ultimately must eliminate a dire threat, that he inadvertently started, which could affect the entire arcade. During this journey he meets many characters including Vanellope von Schweetz (a glitchy character).

If I were to choose a character that I like, it would have to be Vanellope von Schweetz.

She appears to be a very cute and innocent girl. Awww. Doesn't she look adorable. =P But in reality, she has been bullied many times and she has adopted a sour look on life and in people. She has a sharp tongue and appears to be very sassy in her replies, which made me chuckle as I watch many of the scenes in the trailer, especially one part when she said she was adorable! LOL! Anyway, she will help Ralph along the way and expect to be tickled by the interesting conversations between them! =D

So without further ado, here's the trailer!!

During this movie, you can see many familiar arcade characters such as Bowser, a villain from the Mario series, Doctor Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog, and many more. You can definitely expect to be reminded of your childhood days and the games you would have played back then. =)
